Biography

Growing up in Serbia, I developed a profound love for nature and the vast landscapes that surrounded me. I spent much of my childhood sneaking up on birds, hoping to get a closer look. Before I knew it, my parents had enrolled me in school. When math and physics entered the picture, they transformed the way I thought about the world. Midway through high school, I moved from Serbia to America to continue studying math and physics. I pursued mathematics through graduate school, climbing as high as I possibly could. Today, I conduct research in mathematics and spend nearly every free moment on nature walks, accompanied by a camera and binoculars.

I hope you enjoy my impressions of nature and are inspired to consider conservation — extinction is forever.
